At the event we will have plenty of hand sanitizer available and QR-codes spread around the venue.
We’ll be following the government recommended procedures as well as keeping an eye out for any new developments while the event is unfolding. In case of a Lock down, if you are travelling from overseas or outside of Wellington and your city locks down, but the conference is proceeding in person, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number to request a refund.
If Wellington/All of NZ goes into lockdown or increases in Alert level to 2 or above, we will be pivoting into a digital conference rather than an in-person conference. For a Digital Conference experience we will give a 50% refund to full conference tickets, and digital links to workshops and talks (where possible) will be sent to all attendees.
The NZGDA board will be monitoring the situation closely as the conference approaches. By July 28th 2021 if we have any concerns we will decide on whether the conference will be safe for an in-person event or if we will need to make preparations to record talks for a partial or full digital conference. If we have an outbreak between July 28th – August 4th we will assess the situation promptly and alert the community through our channels (follow our Twitter for the latest updates) on what we feel the best course of action should be.
If you have any questions or concerns, please send us a message anytime at email@example.com and we will try respond as soon as we can.
