Accommodating neurodiversity in learning environments through immersive VR gaming

Designing immersive VR games for an applied context requires an integrative approach.

Immersive gaming offers new possibilities for creating customizable and safe virtual learning environments that can accommodate for a variety of unique learner needs. Meike will discuss interdisciplinary approaches to applied immersive game design.

Further, she will be presenting and discussing a first prototype of a math VR game for children with ADHD in formal education.
