Forging Tools Worthy of Wraeclast

How do you step up your game to meet the demands of a sequel? For more than a decade Grinding Gear Games has built the world of Wraeclast using custom-made internal tools. To build seven new story acts for Path of Exile 2 we needed those tools to be more powerful, more accessible and more efficient. This talk will cover what worked, what didn’t, what really mattered, and how rethinking our approach to tools development allows us to build better games.
