Four Lenses for Designing Morally Engaging Games: Lessons from moral psychology

What makes morally challenging games engaging? What skills are involved in making moral choices in games? And what exactly is the point of “morality meters”? In this talk, I will present the findings of a 10-year multi-disciplinary research project investigating moral decision-making in videogames and the lessons they can provide for designing morally engaging gameplay.
