Join Nat and Jack for a post mortem of Wanderer’s character animation pipeline, where they will breakdown their learnings from developing this system as well as a practical rundown on how it was programmed with example code.
They’ll go through the process of creating motion capture based animations using Rokoko and Unreal LiveLink, integration and further development of the Unreal animation system, dynamic interactions with characters to improve VR immersion, and the problems and solutions they uncovered along the way.
