Talk Description
Zelle is obsessed with what she refers to as “values-driven projects” and, frankly, trying to fix EVERYTHING. She believes that coding for good can change the world – whether wellbeing, teaching the next generation of developers, or just avoiding soulless work. She is also diagnosed with fairly debilitating ADHD, repeatedly in-and-out of cancer treatment, and generally dances toe-to-toe with burnout on a daily basis. Join her for a quick (frantic) chat on doing respectful, compassionate work that matters, trying to save the world and hopefully keeping your head on at the same time.
Talk Takeaways
Expect a humorous, educational, and surprisingly light-hearted jaunt through illness, madness, optimism and time management. If you’ve ever worn too many hats at once, you’ll understand perfectly… but this talk is aimed at anyone who is trying to keep treading water in 2022 and still leave the world a better place than they found it.
