Talk Description
Returning with an animation talk to build on the outstanding series of presentations “The Art of Exaggeration”, “The Art of Overlap” and “The Art of Anticipation”. This presentation on Space Switching will display a workflow that simplifies the animation process and allows more control for a better quality result.
Talk Takeaways
This session will provide insight into the Space Switching workflow for both animation creation and runtime implementation.
The goal is to demonstrate how this workflow can speed up the production of animation content, as well as making the authoring process simpler for the artist.
This talk is filled with practical examples and use-cases so you will walk away with a clear understanding of the concepts covered. These will be offline examples because running Maya live is never a good time.
This talk assumes a basic level of knowledge about animation and is intended for new animators and individuals interested in expanding their toolset.
