Gabriela is a software engineer at Wellington City Council, currently building a 3D replica of the city in Unreal Engine. She studied filmmaking and worked in IT for many years, later combining these two with a career in the VFX industry while pursuing game development as a passion project. These days she is focused on creating the foundation of the Digital Twin capability in local government, as well as building bridges between the creative industries and the wider community of game engine’s users.
