Meike Belter is a second year PhD candidate working in Human-Interface-Technology at HITLab NZ.
She has a background in technical communications and educational science.
Meike is passionate about integrating technology into teaching environments for young neurodiverse learners.
With her PhD studies she is looking into immersive VR gaming for children with ADHD in formal education. Meike’s
areas of expertise span from human-centric-design and educational technology to interdisciplinary collaboration.
With her research she anticipates enriching education for neurodiverse learners by applying the principles of play and gaming.
