Michael Sands is a self-employed game designer. He’s most well-known for Monster of the Week (2012) (currently published in partnership with Evil Hat Productions, as well as translated into several languages). He’s also self published a few smaller games as Generic Games, including Three Dooms, The Natural Philosophers, and Heavy Metal Aeons. He’s currently working on a new supplementary book for Monster of the Week, a game about scientists lost in space, and another about age of sail military adventure.
