Zoë grew up with deaf family members, and has held a variety of roles serving local and international Deaf communities. After graduation, she carried out research in the developmental psychology of Deaf children and the sociolinguistics of signed languages before retraining as a clinical audiologist. She created Talk Town to improve outcomes for socially isolated Deaf youth in mainstream schools. Zoë rocks her bright pink hearing aids with pride.
